Question Should I get a new phone?

I have a four year old phone, it works fine other than it has headphone icon all the time. Because of that I can't receive calls (have to always receive in speaker mode) or play anything. I got it repaired few months back when the guy removed the whole jack, but it's back again and now he said that it can't be fixed. Should I get a new phone? Because I also feel like it's a waste of money.
