Hey guys, I am in the process of upgrading a lot of my old pc parts as I've bought many of them back in 2013. My budget isn't too high for a PSU but seeing as how it's very old (2013) and a lot of other parts are being upgraded, should I consider getting a new one? If so, what would you guys recommend for under $100?
P.S. I'm Canadian

PC Specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor (upgraded)
CPU Cooler:
Cooler Master Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition
Motherboard: ASRock B450 Pro4 ATX AM4 Motherboard (upgraded)
Memory:
G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 32 GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 (upgraded)
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1660 DirectX 12 GTX 1660 VENTUS XS (upgraded)
PSU: XFX 550W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply (current since 2013)
Case:
Corsair 500R Black ATX Mid Tower Case

Thank you!

If it is still working, probably fine for now.

Under $100 won't get you much right now. PSU prices are on the rise.

Seasonic 620W Evo is about it, also bronze. (Seasonic was the OEM for your 550W XFX)

If you had more like $120, there are a few gold rated supplies to look at. 650W Seasonic Focus Gold, Corsair RM 650W.

Would mostly be a precaution.

You should get a new PSU as that is getting old. For under $100 Canadian you can get the Antec Earthwatts Pro. https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product...fied-semi-modular-atx-power-supply-ea650g-pro It is based on the Seasonic Focus Gold PSU with is very good.

Your gpu does not need a lot of power so stronger than 550w is not needed.
So long as your psu keeps doing the job, I would not change it out. XFX is one of the higher quality units around.

What you might be missing out on is support of the very low power sleep states available on modern motherboards.
Not a biggie, I think.

Except you can buy PSUs which are known to not have issues such as those with FX. It's EOL anyway, so why buy it?
It works into your budget. While it has those few minor issues, that did affect everyone who had similar hardware, still out performs more expensive units on ripple, regulation, etc... Also all the cheaper 80+ Gold PSUs on Canadian pcpartpicker are basically garbage. This is bar far the best PSU that fits into this person's budget.
