Should I get a new screen?

Buying a gtx 760 this week, and thinking I don't want to waste it on a sub-par screen.

Really just trying to find out if it is worth me upgrading. I currently have a http://www.viewsonic.com/us/va2703.html . It was pretty much the cheapest 27" monitor I could get a year ago.
I am looking at this: ASUS MX279H


So would a bump to a 27" IPS panel give me noticably nicer picture

And would the increase from 3ms to 5ms response time be noticeable. I play all sorts of games.

Any other good monitors for the same price point, or am I best staying with the viewsonic.

The response time drop wont be noticable, I wouldn't bother going from 1080p to 1080p.

If you wanna go to a 27" go 1440p IPS but you will need the graphics power to run the higher resolution

Well, I just brought the QX2710. Complete impulse buy. Somebody reasure me!
Looks like ill be playing some games on med once it arrives. Hopefully my 760 can handle BF4 at 60fps , 1440p on medium..... gulp

Nice you should be ok with a gtx 760 at 1440p and med settings you still will see a big difference over 1080p high/ultra settings..Everything is more clear/crisp and vibrant trust me you will not wanna go back to 1080p after gaming on a 1440p screen
