[SOLVED] should i get a ryzen 5 3600 or ryzen 5 2600?

i can afford both but im not sure if a gigabyte b450m or the msi b450 gaming plus motherboard will support ryzen 5 3600 or not
what i have now is
CPU-i5 4690k
GPU-gtx 960/1070 (im not sure if the 1070 works or not cuz it wont fit in my case at the moment because of my motherboard)
RAM-8gb ddr3 2400mhz corsair
case-antec gx-200
motherboard-msi z97 gaming 5 LGA 1150
Power supply- corsair cx600m 600 watt
storage-
1tb hard drive
240gb ssd

The B450 gaming plus supports updating the bios for 3rd gen support without a cpu. Get that.

3600 is much faster than the 2600. that's the better option.
