I have two builds:

  • 14900K + Be Quiet! Shadow Base 800 FX (Max GPU length: 430mm)
  • 13600K + GTX 1080 + Cougar MX410 Mesh (Max GPU length: 300mm)

I want to buy an RTX 5070 for my 14900K build and then replace it with an RTX 6070 in 2027. Then, I want to replace the GTX 1080 in my 13600K build with the left-over RTX 5070.

I am only interested in MSI and Gigabyte cards.

The problem is that most MSI/Gigabyte RTX 5070s have 300mm+ lengths. Do you recommend buying a SFF RTX 5070 or one with dual fans?

dual fans seem to be cheaper. I think the only difference is the noise level as it will most likely increase vs three. All cards are expensive so no getting around that much.

Some cards have one fan. It just makes the fan work harder/spin faster. So 3 is better than one or two. If you are worried about heat dispersion find a card that handles that best if that is a thing to consider.
