Solution
Yes! SSD's, in my opinion along with many other's, are a requirement for a speedy system. You could start with a 240GB up to a 480ish for a decent amount of storage. If your budget does not allow that then go for a 120GB SSD for your boot drive and buy a regular HDD for storage.
