Should I get AMD for upcoming DX12 games?

Been wanting Intel for a while, but with dx12 around the corner and from what I know amd sounds appealing, and cheaper.
If you think I should go with AMD, what cpu doing would run current modern games without to much bottlenecking?

No I do not recommend you build a new PC in 2015 with 2012 parts. Go Intel all the way. You will not regret it.

I would also recommend Intel over AMD. My first build was AMD and I just recently built with Skylake and it is so much better. But if you're set on AMD this one isn't a bad deal at all.

AMD has no price advantage on Intel. That FX8350 would run like crap on any sub $80 motherboard making it no cheaper than an i5 4590 + H97 motherboard.

The GPU's from AMD should be worth it. But when it comes to CPU, Intel seems more suitable.

I was thinking about the I7-6700k, and I think I'm set on it now, seeing as its only about 50-80 dollars more than a 4790k (taking motherboard and RAM in consideration)
Any motherboard suggestion? Preferably one under $150 dollars.

The Asus Z170 A is a decent board. I believe it is under or around $150
