Should I get an aftermarket cooler?

I'm getting a i5-8400. I've heard that I should get an aftermarket cooler because of the loud and unefficient stock cooler. Is this true? If so, I am thinking of the Cryorig H7 or Cooler Master Hyper 212. Thoughts?

I would, the Intel stock coolers are just awful, they need to learn from AMD. Either of the coolers you picked would be good with the Cryorig H7 being better however you could go even cheaper and get something like the Cooler Master Hyper T4 if budget is a concern. But the H7 probably is the best price to performance.
