OK, so i have a good apu (ryzen 3 2200g) and i want to pair it with dedicated gpu. I am looking at a gtx 1050 ti, but i dont know if a gtx 1060 would be worth it
i said 1060 will bottleneck ryzen3 APU not the other way around
rookieGamer :
no point getting either of those.. 1050Ti is just not worth getting on 2200G its just isnt worth the money for the improvement it gives over vega8 and 1060 will bottle neck your CPU.
You said "1060 will bottle neck your CPU", i read the same way titantigger did and his comment to correct you but think you meant it another way then it was written. Any case 1060 wont be bottleneck by the 2200g or vice versa, they're actually well balanced for 1080p
1050Ti can be up to twice as fast vs Vega 8 in a lot of games.
Definitely go for a 1060, the difference between the two is quite large in performance, it will definitely be worth spending the extra so you to enjoy higher fps in your games.

Well if all you are going to do is run a 1080p 60hz screen you should probably go for the 1050ti but if you plan on using high refresh rate go for the 1060, plus the added benefit of future proofness.
Whichever you choose you can't go wrong.

but if you plan on upgrading your CPU in next 2years then get gtx1060
you dont add a GPU in an APU build thats the whole point of getting an APU.

The GTX 1060 6GB is a much better option than the stock Ryzen Vega integrated graphics. Plus the integrated graphics uses a significant amount of the system's RAM as VRAM.
And if you like you can simply switch out the processor for an R5-2600 or R5-2600X and sell then old one.

The point is that im gonna have only apu then later on ill buy 1050 ti or 1060
I wouldn't even consider a GTX 1050 TI. A RX 570 is cheaper (avail for $100) while also a fair bit more powerful than a 1050 TI. I would go either a RX 570 or 580/1060.

The ryzen 3 will not bottleneck a GTX 1060 6gb.

since you not getting GPU right away and will be using APU for while.. you can have your own findings
after using 2200g for almost a year now i dont think adding a GPU to it is worth it, i believe adding 1050ti to ryzen3 1300x is better option
1300x got same specs as 2200g and no vega and cost less than 2200g, without vega8 2200G is basically a ryzen3 1300x, vega8 which you wouldnt use anyway if you get a gpu
however 2200G on its own is very good chip, runs all the new fancy games with 30fps avg.. as long as u get dual channel memory kit
