Two points, one the 9600K will work on the MSI Z370 Gaming Pro and as you wont be overclocking, it will be more than good enough. Two, I would probably go the 8700 route as you will be getting 6 cores and twelve threads as possessed to just 6 cores...even though it is slightly higher clocked. The 8700 will also do a great job and the additional threads will come in handy in some games and for the future especially as you are not overclocking...
If you already have the MSI Z370 Gaming Pro, then fine but if you do not, then I would consider the Z390 motherboards instead as it will be more future proof and can still handle the 8700 or 9600K.

i wont multi tasking i bought it for gaming.
i5 3.7ghz idle 4.6ghz turbo
i7 3.2 ghz idle 4.6 ghz turbo
i5 will be oc after to years when i feel that 4.6 is not enought !
i i got i7 then is it worth upgrading in the future ? i dont think so.
do i really need that good cpu after few years ? i know gaming need just 2 cores.
thread are just for multi tasking .. i dont know i am still dont know what should i take.
i dont know anything about oc. but i assume that i will learn it after few yeras.

note: i wont oc i5 in first 3 years because its not worth it i will lose warranty .
