This is my computer: http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/hewlett-packard-hp-pavilion-p7-1449-desktop-computer-amd-a10-5700-10gb-ram-1tb-hdd-windows-8-p7-1449/10226771.aspx?path=cd36f04e53e19314d62c3d0e74e04457en02
(although i got it for only $500)

i wanna upgrade my graphics card so should i crossfire the built in 7660D with the 6670? or should i just scrap the integrated 7660D and fully upgrade to just the 7750? will either of them even work on my computer (300 W)?
please someone help me because this topic has been driving me crazy since everyone is telling something different
p.s i dont want to spend more than $130 on the GPU
thanks 😀

yea but it says it requires 400 W and i dont to spend even more money on power supplies

the stated power requirements are usually too high so you can get by with something lower than that. The 7750 has a requirement of 400w as well

You can get this power supply: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139027

So $110 for card +30 for psu puts you at $140. Only a tiny bit over budget

its ok and thanks for ur help, but i read on a lot of sites that the 6670 (and i think the 7750, not sure though) only runs at 50-60 W, something like that so its doesnt need its own power connector and takes all the power it needs from the PSU
but maybe ur right because the PSU has to be stronger since the 6670 takes an extra 50-60 W so my PSU has to be at least 350 W, looks like im gonna have to spend at least $150...great
and any other upgrade i make (obviously besides the PSU) im gonna need a stronger PSU

How much improvement do you need? You can get a 3Dmark11 of more than P2100 using the internal graphics of the AMD A10 (at stock rates it's around P1100). Adding a cheap 6670 to your system could get it to in excess of 3500. And I think you can add a further one as well.

sorry but i dont know much about graphics cards, i just started researching them a few days ago so i dont know what 3Dmark11 is but i do know about benchmarks and i know that the 7750 had a much higher G3D mark than the 7660D+6670
