[SOLVED] Should I get rtx 2080 or 2080ti ?

I currently have a new computer

I7 8700k @5.0ghz
MSI z370 gaming pro carbon
16gb ddr4 ram Corsair 3000mhz
Gtx 1080 current card until I sell which i have
Evga G3 850watt psu
Corsair x570 RGB case
Samsung 850 Evo 1tb
Samsung 860 pro 512gb
Samsung T5 portable SSD 250gb
Toshiba external USB 3.0 hard drive 1 tb

I want to upgrade to either a MSI duke rtx 2080 or maybe a rtx 2080ti like gigabyte which is £1199.99 can you help me decide please and is the evga xc 2080ti any good.

What kind of monitor (resolution and refresh rate) are you gaming on?

I play at 1440p at 60hz at the moment all maxed out. maybe 4k maxed out lol

I can game at 4k 60fps but not all games especially new ones

RTX 2080 has very similar specs to the GTX 1080ti. I wouldn't recommend selling it, especially since it can handle most AAA games as for now.

If your 1440p monitor can only do 60hz, it's not worth the upgrade.
Look into getting a high refresh monitor first... or you could go ahead an get a 2080ti and be forced to scale resolution to 4k, as your monitor's natural settings would likely create a bottleneck.
