Question Should I get RX 6750 XT considering max 60FPS on monitor?

I have 2 queries really (one is regarding my PSU), but firstly here is my pc specs..
RYZEN 5 5600X
GTX 1660 SUPER
GIGABYTE AORUS ELITE AX V2 MOTHERBOARD
BE QUIET PURE ROCK 2 CPU COOLER
CORSAIR CX 650M BRONZE PSU
2 X 8 GB STICKS OF 3200MHZ RAM
1 X 250GB WD BLUE NVME SSD
1 X 1TB SAMSUNG 970 EVO PLUS NVME SSD
1 X 1TB SEAGATE BARRACUDA HDD
Normal fans (No RGB)
Monitor DELL U2515H.

I am wanting to upgrade my graphics card. I was looking at the RX 6750 XT.
I run my games on 1440p, which my GTX 1660 SUPER can (almost usually) manage at 50-60 fps, as long as I dont go too high on the game settings. Will it be overkill getting the RX 6750 XT if I my monitor is max 60 FPS?,although I imagine I could then run games on best settings if I only require 60FPS, or is it worth getting the card, in case I want to get a better monitor in the future with higher refresh rates etc?

I am assuming there will be no bottleneck with my Ryzen 5 5600X?

I particularly looked at the RX 6750 XT due to it having 250W power consumption, and was assuming it would run ok on my system with my Corsair CX 650M, which is 2 and a half years old. I dont overclock my GPU or CPU. I didnt really want to start getting a new PSU as well as forking out for a new graphics card, so was looking for a GPU that would fit within the margins of my Corsair CX650M, and which would also be a good improvement over my GTX 1660 SUPER.

I did look at some 8GB Nvidia and AMD cards, but a lot of reviews I have read said that it is better to get 12gb or more due to the new games coming out, hence I looked at the RX 6750 XT, although I note the RX 6700 XT has even lower power consumption of 160W.

Can anyone recommend any of the above two RX cards, or an Nvidia alternative - bearing in mind my Corsair CX650M, and 60FPS 25 inch monitor (although I may upgrade the monitor in 9 months time, if I can save enough dosh, lol)

this CXm series is a fairly low quality unit.
i wouldn't use it/trust it for any gaming or other high performance type of systems.

while you're in the process of upgrading, i would start with that.

I particularly looked at the RX 6750 XT due to it having 250W power consumption

replacing this low tier power supply with something stronger would also give you much more options for better cards.

just because the refresh rate may be 60Hz doesn't necessarily mean that fps is capped at 60.

but if you're big into gaming, or getting there, why not also get a nice monitor/TV to allow better gameplay while you're into this upgrading?

Just realised its not a CX650M, but a CX650 (so not the modular one). I have been looking at RTX 3060, or RX 6600 XT, (and possibly 3060 TI) which I believe would run on my CX650.

I was going to opt for the 12gb 3060, as some GPU websites/reviews suggest that it is best to get the 12gb VRAM (do any games use over 8gb at present?), however the RX 6600 XT appears to out perform the 3060 slightly better on some games, not on others (so I imagine it may end up being down to price difference?). I did consider the 3060 TI which is even more expensive, and there seems to be quite a wide price range on the TI cards, though I have seen a couple which would just about be in my budget.

Any suggestions or comments on what card would be most helfpul. Thanks

its not a CX650M, but a CX650

none of the CX/CXm series are high quality but the specific model means a lot in terms of reliability.

when was it purchased?
and another thing to look out for is the color of the information label on the unit, which is this?

On removing the side panel of the base unit, I can now see it is a CX650M (the build just said it was CX650 when I ordered it). It was purchased with new build 2.5 years ago. It has Grey logo/writing on a black case if thats what you mean.

I cant access the information label (if there is one), as the unit is housed in a compartment at base of the computer case (looks like I would have to remove the whole PSU from a gap in side of the chassis to get it out, and would firstly have to unscrew it from the back of the base unit (where power supply plugs in) as the compartment it is in doesnt appear to unscrew, and has only 1 access/ingress point to get the PSU out?

the majority of the gray labeled >\=650w units are usually okay, mid-tiered.
for the current system of this caliber it should be fine.
though i wouldn't want to be relying on it for more than a few years if primary usage is gaming.

most manufacturers recommend 700w for the RX 6750 XT.
but i would wait and see if the 650w handles it fine before worrying about a upgrade.

i had an RX 6700 XT OC edition in use for a short period and it's performance was disappointing @ 2560x1440p even compared to my old GTX 1080 Ti.
maybe a few fps more with RT effects enabled at low qualities.

when i used my 3440x1440 display it couldn't handle it with good in-game settings in Cyberpunk, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, The Outer Worlds, etc.
usually between 40-50fps even with some lowered settings and low quality RT effects.
