should i get the amd fx 6300 or m5a99fx pro 2.0?

should i upgrade motherboard or amd cpu amd fx 6200? I currently have a gtx 760 superclocked and i feel like my amd fx is bottlenecking in some games, if i get a new motherboard ima overclocked the amd fx 6200 to 4.5 ghz but if i get the amd fx 6200 im going to overclock to 4 ghz sense my motherboard currently is a 970 a g46.

but isnt the motherboard i have right now extremely bad, also i saw online a slight improvment from the amd fx 6300

It has throttling VRM's with high power CPU's (125watt tdp) it does OK with FX6300 and OC. I have one with FX8350 but the cooler is selected to blow down on the VRM's as well so no throttling in my case. Cooler http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103100

yea i have a cooler master 212 evo so neither do I but like im having trouble choosing between the two cause i dont want to spend my money on the amd fx 6300 if im not going to see an improvment in gaming

Well really the best option is to stay as is. The FX6300 is a better CPU there was reported up to 15% per clock cycle performance increase (most reviews I have seen though come in under 10%) over the bulldozer and it is more energy efficient. Performance difference with both your options is negligible.
