Should I get the Asus R7 240 ddr3 4GB OC LP or the Sapphire R7 250 gddr5 1GB LP, for light gaming ' I'm a Newb!

The R7 250 is the superior card, but don't expect stellar performance.

Depends on your whole system, really, might not be worth it getting any of those.

Then yeah the r7 250 will be your best choice, however look into the gtx 750ti at least, because those GPUs you mentioned are pretty slow.

I would have loved the 750ti but sadly I can't seem to find a low profile single slot version
