I’m going to get my parts from Microcenter and I have two choices for a case, the Thermaltake J24 and the NZXT H510i, and I was wondering which one was better. Thanks if you help.

Solution
Depends on what you're going to put in it, but the H510i is overpriced for what it offers. Save like 30USD on the non i model.
That said, I think the J24 is the more flexible case, as far as cooling goes. The design of the H510 is somewhat restrictive, and isn't the greatest home for high power gpus - say for example, a 5700XT or greater.

Ok, so you would say the j24 would be better for a 2700x and a 2060 super? I was thinking about the h510 because of the good cable management, but I wouldn’t put that over better air flow.

Which case will have better temps?
Imma have to take back some of what I said. Out of the box, the H510 is the better case.
Thermaltake J24 Review - the case is actually good, but the stock fans suck. The front panel fans have trouble drawing air through the foam filter. It's going to be an added expense on your part to replace those fans.
NZXT H500 Review - The stock config is best overall; the negative pressure thing actually works here. Adding fans help cpu temps some, but actually hurt gpu temps.

Ok thanks, the only thing I’m worried about is since the h510 uses negative air pressure, would dust accumulate faster and more?

It's inevitable. Just clean the PC a few times a year, just don't completely neglect doing so for a year or more like some people do.

Also, if you can help it, keep the PC off the floor. The dust build up is “low” compared to on floor systems. Get the system even a couple feet off the floor and difference is substantial. Carpets are also bad for dust build up if the system is on the floor.

Ok thanks, so if I put it up on my desk I’ll I should only clean it every few months? Cause that’s what I’ve seen but I thought it would be more because I would be using negative air pressure
