should i get the msi z77a-g45 gaming motherboard

It is a good motherboard. However, motherboards have little to no impact on game performance so you should be more worried about whether your CPU and GPU is able to handle the game.

I've got this motherboard, it's great all round, plenty of connectors, got my CPU overclocked to 4.3Ghz from 3.3 in it so no problems there. The ONLY downside I have noticed with this board is that it has no voltage offset for when you want to overlock, but that is literally the only drawback.

It does have a killer nic for internet, but that is probably more of a gimmick. I can't say for sure since I have never used one. It also has better onboard sound than other budget boards.

At that price point I'd look to the Asus Z87-A or their Z87-Plus, Asus seems to have the best handle on the Z87 and Haswell...also won't touch MSI mobos due to their poor QC
