I'm researching monitors and I found a lot of good ones,I stumbled upon monitors such as BenQ which has "Nvidia 3D vision ready"so this means I can have 3D I guess sl should I get it+120 hz+1080p? And if anybody knows any good gaming monitors not surpassing $400 that would be great.

Solution
It really depends what your gonna do with the monitor:
If your not gonna do much 3D viewing its probs not good to buy that one.
However BenQ does make some of the best monitors.
Try checkin out other BenQ, AOC or Eizo monitors.
- BenQ XL2420Z 24" Full HD LED 144Hz Gaming Monitor
- Benq RL2240HE 21.5" 5ms Full HD Monitor Yellow and Black
- BenQ RL2455HM 24" 1ms HDMI Full HD LED Gaming Monitor with Speaker
- BenQ XL2411Z (144Hz) 24" 1ms HDMI Full HD Low Blue Light LED Gaming Monitor
- AOC G2460PQU (144Hz) 24" 1ms HDMI Full HD LED Gaming Monitor with Speaker USB
- AOC M2870VQ (VA) 28" 4ms DisplayPort Full HD LED Monitor with Speaker
These are just a few around 400 bucks i find worthwhile

Yeah thank you the reason I want 3D is because certain games like just cause 2 with mods when rockets come flying at you face feels awesome but do you think it really is worthwhile if I have the money?

What do you think of the ASUS PB278Q 27-Inch WQHD LED-lit Professional Graphics Monitor?it's only $400 on amazon.

I used to have a 3D monitor, it was awesome, plus I had surround sound, with deep bass.
JIZZ material. But 3D gets boring after a while, due to the lack of games that support it.
I just ended up playin Crysis 3 half the time due to lack of 3D support.
However, getting 3D may be a future security thing, incase 3D games spread like wild fire in the future
then you can play them.

As for the Asus monitor, it looks pretty sweet with the new PLS panel and 0.2ms response

So it's down to the BenQ XL2420Z 24" Full HD LED 144Hz Gaming Monitor and the XL2420/TX what do you think?

They are both identical. They only difference is the refresh rate and 3D.
XL2420Z - no 3D but 144hz refresh
XL2420/TX - 3D but 120hz refresh.

144hz allows for perfect flicker free gaming on high fps games eg racing, CS:GO. But at this high rate, no one can tell
especially amateurs like you and I, can tell the difference between 120 and 144. Plus, only if your graphics can handle up to 144fps+, then its not really worth while.
So I'd go for the XL2420/TX

2420Z is the best buy for the money right now. These monitors really dropped in price with the introduction of the XL2420G (Gsync version). I'm sure Gsync is amazing, but its too expensive for me to jump on board right now. I'm upgrading from a regular 60hz monitor to the XL2420Z. It's $340 on Newegg or you can get a refurb (like I did) from BenQ's website for $275.
