Should I get this cooler?

The Tuniq Tower 120-Extreme. 15cm high.

I'm all for getting this now as my CPU temps are HIGH (even undervolted) with my stock (garbage) AMD [strike]cooler[/strike] heater.

The only question is this is a massive heatsink, do you think it would fit in my gigabyte mid tower sized case? THX in adv.

Yes that's a good cooler and is just under 151mm tall a mid tower should be able to accommodate it fine.
Your only concern should be if it will interfere with your dimm slots and ram(height).
Once you mount a fan on it.

What exactly case do u have? not all the mid tower case have the same dimensions.
