Should I get windows 10?

i play a few video games including; ghost recon phantoms, dirty bomb, ksp, heroes and generals tf2 and war thunder. i am thinking of upgrading as it is free. would you recommend it performance wise and compatibility wise. I have a very fast computer, but i still do not want the speed to be reduced if i upgrade. what is your opinion?

You will still be able to run your games. And not just that but Windows 10 is faster and more optimized. But since it's new there may be problems. But since you'll be saving $120 for when you need it. GO for it! 100% do it!

Since you are already on Windows 8 the jump to Windows 10 will be pretty easy as you are used to the newer style of Windows UI (Windows 10 has a better UI than Windows 8 or 8.1), Windows 10 support Direct X 12 which is what many games that are being developed now are using for better graphics and performance. So I would give it a try..

I actually just brought my old laptop (from 2009 when there was Vista) out of the dust and upgraded it to Windows 10, and I can't believe how fast it is now. So far i've only seen one bug, a small one where when you turn on the computer a little white box appears for a fraction of a second and disappears. So in my opinion I say do it! For me all its done is help so i'm guessing the same will happen to you.

The update itself takes about 3-4 hours which isn't that long. One thing i'm telling you should do is back up your files, I forgot to do it and I thought I lost everything, but somehow everything came back about 3 hours after updating. I'm not sure how, but do a backup just in case.
