Should I get x1 500gbSSD or x2 250gb Raid0?

Hello. My HDD is dieying and I want to buy a SSD.
What I want: Fast apps startup, fast laoding times in games.
What should I get: one 500gb SSD or x2 250GB raid0? Or maybe Just one 256gb for system and some apps I use msot and a normal 1TB hdd?

I seriously doubt you would see any benefit in RAID 0 in normal home use. Read this:

As I see in this iamge, the read/write is almost double in raid0
