Question Should i go for x570?

Im going to upgrade some components in my pc:
My actual pc is i5 6500, seasonic 520w bronze , gtx 980 and 16 gb ram 3200 mhz and one m.2

Im going to buy ryzen 3700x , seasonic 850w focus+ gold and another m.2 because i need more space and since i started used m.2 its just insanely fast...

Now my question is about the motherboard i was going for x570 aorus elite what are your thoughts?

Mainly i will be gaming and streaming.

Sometimes i will record some games.

Anyway i will stick to gtx 980 until it dies or + 2 years.

The X570 Aorus elite is a good motherboard if you have the budget for it.

You can go for a B450 motherboard, but you will sacrifice PCIE4 and you may need a bios update.

Unless you require PCIe4 or plan to try your luck at aggressive OCing which requires better VRM than most B-series boards have, the answer is most likely not if you can find a B-series board with updated BIOS or don't mind your B-series choices being limited to board with "flash-back" (CPU-less BIOS update) feature.

Yes, and a pcie4 ssd will work in a pcie3 mobo at reduced speeds.

The question here im kinda okay with giving more 60 euros because of slighty better chipset , pcie4 and better vrm but like its worth it?

Unless you can confirm that the X470 TUF has out of the box compatibility for your 3rd gen Ryzen, I'd go with the x570 Aorus.

Guys i did buy it but now PC Turn on but screen dont , mouse and keyboard and USB no signals and if i try Turn him off with force shut down it just doesnt... Can be something that is not plugged? Or i plugged wrong?

Actually I'm planning to buy a similar setup like you.

I'll be using 3700x and so far MSI b450 tomahawk max looks the most promising - it supports 3rd gen out of the box, price is nice and besides, I won't be overclocking, if at all.

What do you guys think? Is that a good board and combo with 3rd gen AMD?

Do NOT buy the MSi board if you plan to upgrade the CPU down the road... MSi has crappy voltage regulator design which overheats when you use a 105-watt AMD CPU. It's probably fine for the 3700X but it limits your upgrade path. ALL of the MSi MPG X570 line of motherboards are crap. They cannot handle 105-watt CPUs as well...

I have the MSi X570 Gaming Pro Carbon WiFi with a AMD 3900X and the VRMs overheat, hitting 95+ degrees under load. When that happens, HWiNFO64 shows that the CPU thermal throttles. Biggest piece of crap ever. I have communicated with MSI and they claim the thermal throttling is because the CPU gets too hot... With my Corsair H115 cooler, it only hits 80-85 degrees which MSi claims is too hot...

Alright, for years (even decades) I owned Asus and Gigabyte. Nothing else. What do you think of
Asus ROG STrix B450-F Gaming & Asus TUF B450-PRO Gaming? If you can advise some good Gigabyte mboard, it'd be helpful too. I need some reasonably priced mb for 3700x, just like the op. Though I do want to stay clear of X570 if I don't have to (too expensive) because I don't plan big overclocking and don't need v4. I need full compatibility with 3rd gen AMD, M.2's, stability and memory speed on 3200mhz. Nothing more.

You can also get the X570 Pro 4, it's around 129$ in promo price, which is pretty reasonable for a X570.

That board has terrible VRMs as well running at 95 degrees... You'll be better off with the Asus Prime X570-P for $135 which has temps in the 70s...
