I am planning to buy new PC for gaming and i m gona learn 3d software (blender).

I can go with either of these combo
  1. I5 9400f + Gtx 1660ti
  2. R5 2600 + Gtx 1660
Ram - 8gb x 2
PSU - corsair vs 550w
Storage - 240gb ssd n 1tb hdd

Help me with those cpu + gpu combo. Both conbo cost same as i5 9400f is cheaper than r5 2600 in my country. Which one should i get?
Thank you.

Personally I'd recommend the Ryzen 5 2600 and a 1660 Ti if you can afford it.
That's what I have and I love it.
You should wait a month or two and see if CPU prices drop once the Ryzen 3000's get formally announced.

9400F has a passmark rating of 12188 and a single thread rating of 2390
ryzen 2600 has a rating of 13530 and a single thread rating of 2006.
Approximately even. faster single thread performance of the 9400F is good for gaming.
Better total rating of the 2600 is better for multithreaded batch apps.

For gaming, go with option1 and the stronger GTX1660ti card.
