Should I go NVMe?

I am a software developer, and I work with some small to medium projects. I am building myself a new roof for this purpose. I have heard that unless I am working with HUGE amounts of code, I don't need the 5820k. However, they support super fast NVMe M.2 drives. Will I notice a difference in boot times and load times? Will an NVMe drive be justified?

Solution
Nvme drive as very fast but are unlikely to perform good enough to justify such a high cost. I would stick with a good nand ssd like 850 EVO.
X99 isn't the only platform with NVMe support. Z170 also offers that if you want to go with Skylake. NVMe is great at high I/O applications, but as a software developer, do you think compile time is related more to how quickly the source code can be read into the compiler or how quickly the compiler can compile? I would expect NVMe offers you essentially zero real-world gain over a SATA-III SSD, unless your compile times are significantly over 1 hour.
