Hi everyone,
I am building a new basic (casual) rig with Ryzen 2200G (tight budget hence needed this APU) in first week of Jan,2019. Should I be going with the above processor or wait for CES to cross as in Jan,2018 itself these were launched. Also what is the case with Ryzen 2200GE ? Is it the same as Ryzen 2200G or only TDP(hence clock) difference? Is GE a desktop cpu ? Whys is it still not available in India ? Thank you in advance ?

There will always be a "better" replacement in the future. What value do you gain by waiting? What is the "cost" of not buying? Those are questions only you can answer.
Personally I would never wait on vaprorware.

Sorry for the late reply. So basically I can go with the CPU without worrying about CES right ?
In 2018 2200G and 2400G were available just after the announcement that's why I am worried if I should wait for 3rd gen Ryzen APU's(ofcourse pricing will be higher this time I believe).

Hi. Actually pricing is not a concern but the announcements coming. This year 2200G and 2400G were available just after the announcement hence I am worried if I should wait for 3rd gen Ryzen APU(i guess pricing will be higher this time)

Even if announced in Jan 2019 at CES CPU's probably won't become immediately available to buy. You may have to wait until March or April to actually find one on the shelf. Or have one shipped to you even though many e-tailers will let you pre-order. And some of the more compelling models may not be available until latter in the year, say Q3 or Q4 of 2019.

Thank you for the response. I would like to ask you one more question (tight budget):

my to be built desktop specs :

CPU: Ryzen R3 2200G

HDD: Western Digital Blue 1tb

SMPS::COOLER MASTER SMPS MWE 450

MOTHERBOARD: MSI B450M-PRO VDH

RAM : GSKILL/ CORSAIR 2x4GB config 2666MHz/3000MHz

CABINET: : corsair spec 04

Yes I'll upgrade the CPU and add a GPU in not so distant future(and SMPS will upgrade as well)

BUT i need suggestions for monitor.

above items are costing me Rs 27000($376) to Rs 30000($418) depending upon the local pricing. I need a monitor (don't have spare one )within Rs 8000($100). I don't need fancy stuff but 1080p with <=5ms and atleast decent inches(>=20inches. Is it possible ?) (IPS panel would be great).
