Should I go with a 144hz when I have a GTX 1060!

I am wondering if I should go with a 144hz monitor, I have a gtx 1060 with 16 GB ram and an i5, is it worth it to go with a 144hz?

Depends if you need it. Depends on which game too. 1060 might not able to achieve high enough performance for a 144Hz

Does 144hz mean it can show frames all the way up to 144hz do for example 60hz can show frames from 1-60 , does 144hz show 1-144 frames?

I'm gonna play games like no man's sky, mafia 3, terraria, cs go, mobas and more

Technically 144Hz can handle up to 144fps (if you want to know in depth detail then there is a lot of site discussing it). It makes the game smoother to look. Games like cs go will benefit from 144hz monitors. Not sure if you need one for terraria lol
