Should I go with GTX 960?

I am going to upgrade my GPU, I am using a Geforce GTS 450 currently and I have decided on a Asus strix GTX 960 2gb for the moment. During my research, wherever i saw GTX 960 most people suggest a R9 280x or 285 instead of a 960 or even a GTX 970 to be futureproof. So am in a dilemma now.

I play MOBA games frequently and single players occasionaly. I always buy games when they are at their maximum discount prices which is normally at 75% off in steam. So i won't be playing new games like GTA V or Far cry 4 for atleast a year from now. Also I will only make my next upgrade only after 2 yrs from now. Also its hard for me to consider R9 280x or 280 because it costs around 4-5k rupees(60-80$) more than a 960.

So is the GTX 960 good enough for me to last the next 2 years or should i consider other cards?

coming from personal experience, i was able to run DOTA 2 on 4k using that same exact card. so if you can buy it at a cheaper price than an r9 280x, i strongly advise that you go for it. $60 is too much of a price difference imho.

Yes, I already checked if my current PSU can handle GTX 960 and its more than enough. So am ok on the PSU part, thanks for you input.
