Should I have gotten the GTX 1080 Strix OC?

My current build is

CPU : i7 6700k
CPU : Gtx 970 Strix
MOBO: Asus Z170 - A
RAM - Corsair 16 GB LPX 3000 Mhz DDR4
PSU - G2 NOVA 650 Watt
SSD - Samsung 850

Does the OC have a binned chip or anything? I could have bought the 1080 OC but if I dont even plan on overclocking that much with some of the games i play so is it fine that I went with just the regular Strix 1080?

You are fine with normal 1080

There is hardly any difference in 1080s they all seem to have similar overclockabity
