Hi,
So I just purchased all the parts I need for a new Gaming build ( except for the case) . Originally, I wanted to spend $500, which of course didn't happen.
Now I'm second guessing myself and just wondering if what I spent , was actually worth it. I am looking for validation that I wasn't a total idiot, since it is now up to $1038. I'm thinking I could have bought a better PC for around $900. Comments?

I just changed by GPU to a EVGA GeForce RTX 2060 SC for $50 more.

Yes, a prebuilt can sometimes seem marginally cheaper.

But with building it yourself, you get:
  1. A known parts list, rather than the cheapest SSD/PSU/RAM/motherboard they happen to have in stock on that day
  2. A known build quality.
  3. Better warranty conditions.

Is that worth $150 to you?
