Should I Have SMT Enable if I Have Ryzen 3 1200?

I bought a new motherboard recently old one was faulty so I was just looking around the new one's BIOS and realized that SMT was enabled by default but I thought SMT was disabled on the Ryzen 3 chips.
Should i turn off the SMT BIOS setting?

I would advise you to leave it disabled.

Since Ryzen 3 1200 lacks SMT, it can not favor leaving it enabled and, on the other hand, it can have some unfavorable side effects (eg in the treatment of energy).


Anyway before leaving it disabled, you can look at CPUZ if it really does something SMT ...
