Question Should I increase my VRAM and if yes by how much?

When testing out if my new PC could run R6S, I could run it fine if I turned the settings down to low and the resolution down to 1280x720, and I saw that when I turned the resolution up to 1920x1080 my VRAM bar started to go higher. I know that I can increase my VRAM via my BIOS, but I was wondering: should I increase my VRAM, and if so how high should I increase it.
