Right now I'm using the onboard graphics chip and my computer is working fine. I have a GPU that I want to try out on this new build of mine and I don't really know how to go about it. Should I install the drivers for the GPU, turn off my system, install the card, and then boot? I've tried booting with the card before and I get bluescreen when i try and load Windows. Normally I would just go with the first thing I said, but I'm afraid if I install the drivers for my card, then I won't be able to see anything using my current chipset.. Which might not be a big deal because I would just turn off my build when the drivers are installed, but what if the card doesn't work even when I have the drivers installed? I know this is probably a noob thing to be worrying about and all, but this is my first build.. I JUST got it working and I really don't want it to stop working. Well yeah I guess that's all I have to say. Here are my parts:
Board: Biostar A960D+ (I know it's bad.)
Current GPU chipset: AMD 760G
GPU I want to use: Asus 7700 and Asus 7770 (I have both on hand.)
CPU: AMD FX 4100
OS: Windows 7
