Should I install my drivers for my GPU and MOBO on DVD or online?

So I know this is a common question, however, this is my first gaming pc build and this is the part im most worried about.
My motherboard is an MSI Z170A Gaming Pro Carbon
My graphics card is going to be a Radeon RX480 8GB
These come with discs for the drivers, but im not sure if im willing to spend the extra $50 for an optical drive.

i do mine online even if i have the disk!, you always get the latest and greatest drivers that way

Is there a tutorial on how? If so, can you link me one. And I know this is probably be a stupid question, but will having older drivers effect your GPU performance?

yes, old drivers will effect them, cause games and software update, so your drivers need to update with them, also, downloading drivers is super easy, just go to the brand of whatever your getting, then usually in the support area there is a drivers tab and you choose what hardware you ahvem then it shows yut he most recent drivers for said hardware

no problem!, oh and just a tip if you have never done this before, when you first boot your pc with the new gpu its gonna be very blurry low res possibly zoomed in, dont worry, it will be fixed once you install drivers
