Should I install Via chipset drivers

I have installed a new harddrive on to my system and was woundering if I afto reinstall the via chipset drivers and highpoint busmaster driver. One more thing what do they mean on via's homepage when they refer to third party soundcard?
Any help is welcomed

You don't need to reinstall the drivers if you just added the drive as an extra drive. If you reinstalled the OS and made the new drive your main drive, then you need to reinstall the drivers, too. "Third party sound card" refers to any sound card (you are the first party, they are the second party and so any other product is "third party"). The term is probably being used to distinguish add-in cards from an on-board sound capability.

no you dont need to
it has all the drivers for both primary and secondary ide channels and your new drive is on one of them.
