Should I install Windows 10 on a new build?

Hey,

I plan on making a build in a couple of days and I have to pick between W7 and W10. W8 is not an option, don't ask why haha.

My main use for the computer will be gaming and modeling/photoshopping stuff. I've read some reviews that said they move better on W10 and some that said W7 is still a little bit better and that really threw me off.

So, is W10 worth it?

Oh, and I have a w7 home premium and if I upgrade that it will be basic w10.
Also, it will be installed on a ssd. If that changes anything

No real performance difference.
If you like windows 10, go ahead and install it.

The main problem I see with windows 10 basic is that you must take all the updates as ms pushes them to you.
With pro, you can defer until it is convenient to update.

I used with photoshop and gaming with w7 and for sure get the win 10, it perform better and faster
