Should i install Windows on SSD disk or ordinary magnetic disk?

Hello!
I have ssd disk 256 gb and magnetic disk 1 TB 5400 rpm. Which one should I pick to install operating system and which one to instal games from bought from Steam? Many thanks in advance for your advice!

generally, you'd use the ssd for both the operating system and games, so that they would load faster.
for your other files, like documents, music and photos, you'd install them on the hdd.

Thanks for swift reply. I dont mind booting time of OS, I bougt lenovo notebook only for playing games on Steam. So - based on finite life time with ssd disk... which one should I use to instal OS and which one for games? Thanks 🙂

the lifetime of an ssd is not really that big of an issue especially since you'd know quite accurately when it's going to fail.
since you don't mind the booting time, then install the os on the hdd and the games on the ssd

That's pretty clear cut, if you own both already.

If your shopping and choosing between the two, it's then becomes more storage space vs more speed. There is no wrong answer there. Just personal preference.

It would be better to install Windows on SSD as you want to install games which would require good space.
