Should I lay my GPU to rest or is there some hope?

Earlier today I was playing cod ww2 since it's not long come out and bought it for cheap on steam, now my gpu isn't the best to run the game so I know to lower my settings and found a nice sweet spot and can get over 100fps in quiet areas. But all was well for a long time until suddenly it crashed and gave me a bsod, which happens quite a lot with memory management so I thought nothing of it, so I rebooted and continued on my way again, to be met with the same thing again this time, but with some artifacting, so much so that it covered the error message but i could make out it's not my normal one so I got sceptical and i shut it down before restart (after bsod), unplugged everything and the gpu itself, and decided to clean it as I thought i might as well do something useful. Upon finishing and plugging everything back in, I was met by a large amount of artifacting, so I started to look it up after once again, unplugging my pc. I read up on some articles but nothing seemed to work so I switched over to my iGPU and saw no artifacting. I've been running with it for a while and looking up solutions and nothing works, tried uninstalling reinstalling gpu drivers, disable, hard reset etc you name it i've done it. At this point i'm losing hope for my card, and since it's 3 years old (out of warranty by 20 days bloody typical) I didn't expect too much from it but I didn't think this would be its last day out. Was wondering if this is it for my run with this card, or if there could be any other magical solution to my problem as I've not seemed to find my exact one. I was looking to upgrade this year/build a completely new pc but it seems i may have to do that quicker than expected, but unfortunately I've run into some money troubles right now and can barely afford food never mind a spare gpu. But hey, at least CSGO runs on the iGPU 😉

Here's my second monitor on my main GPU right now:

I have a friend who's not got a gpu either at the minute, so I'll see about popping round his to check, but I still don't understand why this just randomly happened like that, I've never tampered with it in any way.

I get that, but I've got people with the same gpu or some even older than mine which are perfectly fine, and no offence but it's not an entirely helpful reply since I 1. know that, 2. you didn't answer the question in any way 3. didn't offer any possible solution that's not been said.

You already got the best answer from mazboy.

Test it in another system and you'll find your answer.

My answer is you don't even have to go that far - just upgrade without testing. It's pretty clear the card is on its way out.

You can stop being butt-hurt over your precious card now.

Tried that, rolled back, nothing, uninstalled and reinstalled out of the box drivers, nothing, uninstalled and reinstalled the brand new drivers, nothing. As the rude guy above said its more than likely on its way out or has even been and gone. Seems like its a hardware failure overall on my card, but we shall see when i attempt a second system.
