Hey guys, my friend has offered me a trade. He would like to trade me his i5-4460 & Gigabyte GA-B85M-DS3H-A Micro ATX board, for my FX-8320 and Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3. The only occupation for my PC is gaming, so I love all the FPS I can get. The only reason I'm hesitating is because of his motherboard.

One thing to note, is that I have a Corsair h100i GTX, which I purchased to overclock my FX-8320. I have it @ 4.5ghz currently.

Here are my full build specs.

Case: NZXT S340
Motherboard: Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 Revision 4
CPU: FX-8320 @ 4.5ghz
CPU Cooler: Corsair h100i GTX
GPU: Sapphire Nitro R9 390
PSU: Rosewill Photon 750w (80+ Gold Certified)
RAM: 2 x 4gb G.Skill Ripjaws X 1600mhz
Storage:
- 1 x Western Digital Blue 1tb
- 1 x SanDisk SSD Plus 240gb

Solution

he currently has the fx. and if your just trading mobo+cpu i would do it a i5 kills a fx
the 4460 pretty much outperforms any fx cpu

there's nothing wrong with his mobo

what gpu does his pc have?

also are you sure there is nothing wrong with his computer? his is basically better than yours in everyway so i'm not sure why he would do that

What? How would you know that? I didn't list his specs.
