Question Should I Merge My Two Hard Drives?

I have an HP Pavillion Desktop 595-p0084. It has two hard drives called Windows (C: )and Data (D: ). (C: ) contains the files such as Programs Files 118 GB and has and (D: ) and has 931GB. I believe (C: )is the SSD hard drive. I don't like the idea of having two hard drives with such differing amounts of space, It's just tedious and confusing of what programs should go into what. I would like to merge them but I'm afraid something bad will happen to my pc. Does this sound like a good idea?

No, it would not be a good idea. You'd not be able to boot from.
Leaving them like that would offer the advantage to be able to reinstall Windows, without risking to erase data on the HDD.
