Should I move my page file to my main drive (also fastest one)?

Hey,

I recently built a system with one 1tb M.2, two SATA SSDs, and one HDD. I've seen numerous threads claiming that it can ameliorate stuttering to disable page file on the HDD.

Should I leave the pagefile on my M.2, or on all three SSDs? I have 32gb of RAM.

Thanks!

I would leave it on system drive -C . Leave it automatic.
you only need one on the system drive.

WIth 32gb of ram it won't use it very often anyway. Mine is only 5gb and I have 32gb of ram. Its never used.

Okay! So disable it on everything other than C (M.2)? There's an option to let Windows manage the storage. I'll enable that.

i hadn't looked for a while, my current page file is only 2gb
mine shows as

In order to be able to capture memory dumps (if it ever BSODs) the paging file must be on the same drive as Windows, it also needs to be 'system managed' for size.

You do however want the paging file on the fastest drive you have. However, you also want Windows on the fastest drive you have too!
