Should i overclock my GPU for programming?

Should i overclock my GPU? I use my GPU for CUDA programming, which means i have a nVidia card. Will it increase my overall performance in programming?

What are you programming. A gpu helps with stuff like video rendering and gaming and not that much with programming. But if you have good cooling in your system its not any problems with overclocking. If you dont oveclock to far your performance will increase but not your problems (its not bad to oc).
