Hey guys, I built my pc yesterday 😀 and my processor is a fx 8320 and I want to overlock it. I will use the asus fine tune setting from my board the m5a97 r2.0 to overclock, but will it run too hot? I am using the amd stock cooler, what should I do?

Second what neieus has said. Stock coolers are good for exactly that; stock components. Any time you take it past what it should be at stock, you should look to an aftermarket solution.

And you should learn the proper way to overclock; through the BIOS.

But if I do overclock won't the asus fine tune calculate a good clock for the temp, in the manual it says that it will repeatively shut off my pc and find the best settings and temp, but the reason you advice me not to overclock, is it only because of temo or are there other problems?

Can I at least get it to maybe 4ghz from the stock 3.5 and 3.8 turbo?
