Should I overclock ?

Hi guys, my core i7 4790k is running at 4.00ghz
my idle temp is 30-34c
my gaming temp is at 52c max ( everything is maxed out in game )
is the temp too low ? should I overclock a bit ?

Your temps are ok. But why would you overclock the CPU when you are able to play games with maxed graphics?
You won't see any big difference if you overclock the CPU

I have no idea 😀 I just want to use it to the full advantage 😀 cuz I normally see my friend's core i7 is at around 56-63c

cooler master, something I forgot 😀, but no, I really don't need more processing power, cuz I can play most of my games at max settings

Something you forgot is the part we need 😀 I suppose its a Hyper 212 EVO.

Just stick to stock clocks. All four cores at 4.0 is great and 4.4 turbo is pretty good, too. Also even if you overclocked, you would not gain all that much going to 4.4 ghz or so. Going more than that, you'll need beast cooling, luck to win silicone lottery.

Yeah, just sit back, enjoy your low temps, low noise, high performing gaming pc
