should i replace the i5 with a i3 then overclock? the i5 cant overclock cuz its locked soooo?
im thinking about replacing the i5 cuz it costs to much i cant even spend 50 dollars on each part

over-clocking is more difficult than you think and has many downside's if done wrong

Overclocking isnt the end all to performance as some people might lead you to believe. Gains will be very dependent on the workload. If your main purpose is gaming for example, OCing an I3 will probably not net you any significant fps gains over your 4590 even in games that only utilize one or two cores.

I would stay with i5+ if you really want to overclock get a new chip.
