should i put my gpu in the top slot

hello this is probably a really stupid question but should i put my gpu in the top slot of my msi970 gaming (pcie) and my second one in the other pcie or pci slot ?? thanks sorry for my stupidity
also sorry but can i ust a h100i gtx cooler on this motherboard

Morning,

Put your GPU in the top slot and if you have a third slot on the mobo, put the other GPU in that slot. A dedicated GPU that is quite large ussually uses a lot of space covering the second PCI E 16 slot on the mobo.

Make sure however that you mobo supports either crossfire or SLI that is compatible with your card if you want to go a 2 card setup.

That it is a liquid cooler, if you want to get this then you will need to have case space to mount the radiator either at the top of the case or the bottom of the case. I would advise you to check the size of the cooler (radiator) and the spare space that you have in your case.
