Should I re-install Vista

I could not get Vista to boot after all software repairs (using Dell utilities).

Later I had hardware problems and installed a new motherboard.

I still can't get Vista to boot or repair.

Should I just reinstall. If yes, can I retain my files, or wiill the re-install destroy them?

yea sure bcz the component it's differents
you can put ur hard drive to an external usb hard drive reader on another pc
then you can get your data and reinstall windows
