there's a fan at the back of my case wich isn't connected to anything (probably becase there were no fan connectors to plug it into) and my question is if i should remove it since its not doing anything

Solution
it always helps to have at least one intake and one exhaust unless you already setup an AIO liquid cooling solution, depends on how your temps are if its moderate and you dont want to spend on an after market fan speed controller like NZXT Sentry LXE then you should be fine , but for me i I dont want to worry about temps so I have case fans and an aftermarket cpu cooler, but it really depends on your typical usage.
You should connect the fan.
If there are no fan headers available on motherboard, then you can get molex to fan adapter.
