Should i remove the plastic cover in the motherboard

I have a aorus z370 ultra gaming motherboard.The top corner of the motherboard has a logo plate and the logo plate is covered by a plastic cover.So the question is should i remove the plastic cover because im afraid that it will melt due to heat in my pc.

Of course. Plastic film has to be removed. Obviously.

You never received any new product before with peel-off protective film over some parts of it?

As a general rule, if it can easily be peeled off, it's supposed to be peeled off.

And yes, there's a good chance it will melt so peel it off. It's only for protection during packing & shipping.

Is there any issue with peeling the film off? Why are you hesitant to do so?

And I'm saying peel it off - - - I'm not a qualified risk-assessor or safety advisor!

Why argue the point? - - - leave it on at your own risk, can't say fairer than that.

If it was me, I'd peel it off with no hesitation - - and that's without asking anybody.
It's not meant to be left on.

That plastic cover looks to be there for shipping so parts rattling around in the box don't scratch up the shroud; remove it.

I'd be super tempted to remove the I/O connector shroud, too, since it would open up air flow around the VRM heatsink.
