I was using my graphics card with an AIO cooler. Now I want to use it with stock cooler. But I didn't know where to put thermal pads and that is the result :( You can see the gap between heatsink and blue pads. So should I remove them completely or change them with thicker ones? My graphics card is GTX 1080 Armor. I think there weren't thermal pads on them before. I don't want to burn my graphics card so helps appreciated.

Make and model of your GPU? Perhaps online imagery can help with identifying if the area you're concerned with had thermal pads to begin with. Also, if adding thicker pads hampers a flush contact on other parts of the card, then you shouldn't be using thicker pads.

If anything, use the pads that allows for a flush mount with all components on the GPU.
