My hard drive is about 3 years old. It's a WD Blue 320gb. I have been getting a lot of BSODs. The reasons for the crashes all had to do driver issues, I think. "CORRUPT_DRIVER_Something" and "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL". Should I replace my drive?

Hi there Dizzlepop11,

As ss202sl you can test your drive with the extended test of WD Data Lifeguard Diagnostic: http://support.wdc.com/product/download.asp?groupid=810&lang=en

Though, it is highly probable that the drive is not the issue of this problem. Have you upgraded something recently? It may be related to buggy drivers as well. You can check out the following links with users having the same problem:

http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-1925437/irql-equal-windows-bsod.html

Here is Microsoft's explanation of the error message you have: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms854226.aspx

Hope this will help,
